Who We Are

New Seasons Youth Program (NSYP) is a non-profit Christian organization founded upon biblical principles. NSYP was duly incorporated under the laws of the State of Georgia on September 15, 2008. Our organization aims to help African and Caribbean youth build and sustain a better life through education.

Ray Jackson

Ray Jackson is founder and director of New Seasons Youth Program, Inc. (NSYP), a leading international program designed to assist students who come from marginalized communities in Africa and the Caribbean to obtain a college education in the United States. Ray believes that education - combined with faith - is the key to overcoming poverty, so he set out to bridge the gap between Africa’s underprivileged youth and American Institutions. In 2008, with the help of his late wife De’Adrianne Jackson, NSYP was registered with the State of Georgia as a non-profit organization. Since then, Ray has served as director and CEO leading the organization in an effort to empower youth and young adults through education and promote awareness in their respective countries. To date, NSYP is on the campuses of eight (8) colleges and universities, and has raised over $1.5 million in full-ride scholarships.
Ray has been featured as a world changer in the book, “Becoming a World Changer,” by Author Nnanna Udeh of Nigeria, and The Miss Zambia International Pageant. His passion for youth has allowed him the opportunity to speak at various churches throughout the Metro Atlanta area and in his home state of Arkansas.
In addition to his work at NSYP, Ray received his B.A. degree in Business Administration from Philander Smith College while in Little Rock, AR. While attending Philander Smith on a scholarship, Ray sung with the nationally acclaimed Philander Smith Collegiate Choir and was voted favorite senior. He has been employed with Rockdale County Board of Commissioners for 15 years as a finance manager. He also is an advocate for America’s urban youth and has served as a mentor and program coordinator with Brother-to-Brother in Little Rock as well as an after school program director for OPERATION P.E.A.C.E., located in the Bedford Pines community in Atlanta, GA. Ray is the father of one daughter and surrogate father to many youth and young adults nationally and world- wide. He enjoys actively attending Cross Culture Church in Lithonia, GA where he is a member. In his spare time, he enjoys spending quality time with his daughter, family, friends, and watching Atlanta’s sports teams, reading and cooking exotic dishes from around the world.
