Accomplishment

New Seasons works to provide quality post-secondary (college) education to deserving academically gifted youth and young adults from Africa and the Caribbean. We would like to share with you the status of our current students.

100% of our students graduated on time with a combined GPA of 3.95.

36 of our students graduated all with honors.  3 Will be graduating this coming May 2020 with honors.

In addition to securing $5.5 million dollars in scholarships our students have been the recipients of the following distinctions:

  • Class Valedictorian (6)
  • Class Salutatorian (1)
  • The Gerard A. Vanderhaar Student Peace Award (Christian Brothers University, Memphis, TN)
  • First Place Oral Research Presentation, At The Tennessee Louis Stokes for Minority Students Annual Conference (Tennessee State University, Nashville, TN)
  • Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity Scholarship
  • Outstanding Freshman/President’s List/Dean’s List
  • Mr. LeMoyne-Owen College
  • Tennessee CPA Society Scholarship
  • Tom Joyner Hercules Scholar Scholarship
  • Lemoyne-Owen College SGA President 2019-2020
  • In addition to the colleges and universities that our students have been accepted to, they have secured the entrance into the following institutions and business for internships:
